Our Story

Our founder, Andy Piers, once knew the world of fashion firsthand as a model, but had since traded the runway for the corporate ladder. It was a chance visit to the sun-drenched shores of St. Barth in 2016 that reawakened his creative spirit. Mesmerised by the island's unique charm and effortless sense of style, a new calling ignited within him: a desire to not just wear fashion, but to create it. He swiftly quit his corporate job and embarked on a daring new adventure, determined to craft a swimwear collection that captured the very soul of the island.

The journey was far from easy. He quickly realized that making high-quality swim shorts was a significant challenge, so he set off for Istanbul to find a manufacturer who could bring his vision to life. After weeks of hard work and many adjustments, he created his first set of samples and set his sights on Spain, a new leg of his adventure where he hoped to secure his first orders.

Andy's quest in Spain began in Ibiza, where he knocked on the doors of countless boutiques and hotels, his initial hope fading with each polite but firm "no." The rejection became a familiar and heavy weight, but he pushed on to Marbella, only to face the same disheartening outcome. Just as his resolve began to waver, he made one final push to Mallorca. It was there that his luck and his spirit finally soared. He secured his first four orders from boutiques that were so completely captivated by the product, it made every previous rejection worth it.

That summer in Mallorca was more than a business win. It was proof that perseverance and passion could turn a dream into reality. From that moment, Pier St Barth began its journey, growing from a small swimwear label into a full resort wear brand for men. Today, each piece still carries the spirit of those first designs. Sophisticated yet effortless, ready for days on the beach, by the pool, or in the city.

What started with four orders on a sun-soaked island has become a global invitation to live with style, freedom, and a touch of St. Barth in every moment.
